Explore Khyber Pakhtunkhwa by Road
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, or KPK, is northern Pakistan's most loved summer region, a land of green valleys, rushing rivers, alpine lakes and pine forests, all within easy reach of Lahore and Islamabad by road.
Unlike the far northern areas, KPK is close, affordable and open for much of the year, which makes it perfect for families, first-time travellers and short weekend trips. Its three star valleys each offer something different: Naran and Kaghan for their famous lakes and high passes, Swat for its Switzerland-like forests and Mahodand Lake, and Kumrat for its untouched meadows and waterfalls.
Travelon Today runs guided KPK tours entirely by road in our own AC buses, with hotels, breakfast and a local guide included. Pick a single valley or combine two, and travel safely and comfortably from Lahore or Islamabad.
