Spring

Ratti Gali Lake, the Jewel of Neelum
Sitting at around 3,700 metres, Ratti Gali is a breathtaking glacial lake surrounded by snow-capped peaks and, in early summer, fields of wildflowers. It is the highlight of every Neelum Valley tour.
To reach it, we take a 4x4 jeep from Dowarian up a rough mountain track, followed by a short walk to the lake. The changing colours of the water, from deep blue to turquoise, make it one of the most photographed lakes in all of Kashmir.
